Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a good few weeks of excess and debauchery that will make that New Year health kick worthwhile?

Once again I am starting this year with plans and goals to make this blog bigger, better, and more useful. I’m slowly figuring out where I stand in this big world of fitness blogging. I started this blog over 4 years ago as a woman trying to lose a little weight, stop binge eating and embarking on my first 10k, I now find myself in the position of trying to consider myself an athlete without giggling, trying to work out a training plan that will help me meet athletic goals and playing, for the first time in my life, a team sport at a competitive level.

So, while I spend the first part of this year figuring that out I thought I’d share a little something that I worked on at the end of last year!

Parcelhero asked me if I would create a little gift box to include in a charity auction for Great Ormond Street Hospital. They sent me a blank box, and, with a little (ok a lot) of help from Mr Chick I created a little seaside themed box, containing a hand made memory game (you know, one of those ones where you turn over cards to make pairs).

You can find out more about the #PHWinterWorkshop campaign here.

I’ll be back soon, this year I’m attempting to help Mr Chick complete the Norwich Half Marathon in under 2 hours, so we’ll be documenting the progress of the training plan here, as well as some other fun stuff!
