Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Retro Chick is the Cision Top 10 UK Vintage Clothing Blogs!
Last week I got an email about this, which I mentioned on Facebook and Twitter, but I didn’t want to say anything here till I was sure that it was true and I hadn’t fallen asleep and dreamt it.
Cision are a company that deal with PR, communications and media professionals providing them with information to help them do their jobs. Amongst all the other stuff one of the things they do is maintain lists of the top blogs in their niche.
And I’m in one! See….

I’m super chuffed, I’ve been writing this blog for 2 1/2 years, but it’s only when I moved it to it’s own domain in 2009 that anyone really read it, and it’s been growing so quickly. According to my Google Analytics in July Retro Chick had over 3 times the number of visits than in July 2009, and that makes me pretty happy!
It’s also made me start wondering about where I’m going and what I’m doing with Retro Chick. This blog and associated shop is my full time job, but so far I’ve managed it in a pretty ad hoc, rambling kind of way. If people are actually reading it then maybe I should get a bit more organised…..
I have plans for the future, so here’s to being able to put them into practice!
