Whilst at the Lady K Loves shoot last week the photographer, the wonderful Jon Bolland of StrobeMe, offered to take a few photos of me seeing as I fit in so well with my surroundings.
Instantly I wished I’d applied a little more foundation and blusher when I’d got ready at 7am that morning and that I’d worn a girdle, or maybe not eaten so many biscuits for the last 6 months. But I had a go at looking like I was wistfully waiting for a train containing my lost love to come in whilst standing next to a pile of battered suitcases.
This afternoon Jon has kindly emailed over the first of the shots of me, so I thought I’d share.
I’m really pleased with the resulting picture, probably owing more to the photographers skill than mine as a model! There could be more to come, though there’s always the chance that this was the only one not too awful to send me….
This was also the outfit I wore on Saturday for the first England game, see, you can do red and white without wearing a football t shirt! Though I didn’t look quite so elegant swigging from a beer bottle….
Not often I get to do an outfit post with a photo taken by a professional photographer!

Simply gorgeous! Where is your necklace from?
The necklace was an 18th birthday gift from my Parents. It’s a simple silver locket.
It’s lovely!
You look so super! And you’re so funny haha, ‘waiting for your long lost love’ Ah, every girl deserves to have a couple of pro photos me thinks. Hopefully theres more to come!

The head scarf is my new favourite way of not being able to be bothered to do much with my hair!
This photograph is really the work of a genius. I loved it.
