Sponsor Spotlight: Swelle Boutique

Honestly, I’ve been longing to write about Swelle Boutique for ages, but the site had been waiting for a relaunch for Autumn Winter.

Swelle Boutique is full of the kind of one off and limited edition pieces that make perfect statement wardrobe pieces. I think most of them would mix perfectly with a vintage wardrobe, or a more contemporary style.

This isn’t the place for people who want to buy a look wholesale off the shelf, this is a place for people who know their own style and like to mix and match to get their own look. One of the things I dislike about designer and High Street shopping is the lack of originality and the high likelihood of walking into a place where someone is wearing not only the same dress, but the whole same outfit. Swelle Boutique certainly isn’t like that!

The Swelle Life has long been one of my favourite blogs to dip into, Denise knows her stuff in Fashion and Design and it’s always full of beautiful images and finds with a whimsical girly, but slightly edgy design aesthetic. When I heard she was launching a boutique I knew that she’d do it properly!

Christmas is fast approaching and most of Denise’s bits aren’t out of Christmas present price range so I totally encourage you to shamelessly email links to all the significant people in your life as massive hints. They’ll never know if you don’t tell them…..

These are my favourite picks from the site, just clickety click the pictures to go straight there.

One Off Camel Tweed Check Cape £115

I STILL don’t have a cape, despite originally writing about my long term love affair with them back in January. With vintage fabrics and vintage button fastenings this would look great over a tweed skirt with sensible brogues, or as a contrasting cover up to party frock

Camel Tweed Cape by Rowan Joy £115

Bowtie T Shirt £35

I think this is a perfect Christmas Day T Shirt. I’d wear it tucked into a pencil skirt with a big wide belt for a festive outfit comfortable enough to curl up on the sofa and watch the Queens Speech in, but also nicely stylish. Plus I like that the big bow makes you look like you’re a massive Christmas present.

BOWTIE T-SHIRT from LU FLUX £35

Limited Edition Colette Tweed Coat Dress £235

I love the cute late 50s style of this coat. I think it would look adorable with cream tights and tan leather Mary Janes.
