Glasses – (should have gone to) Specsavers

I’m a contact lens wearer, I have those ones that you sleep in for a month and then change, so on 2 or 3 days each month I revert to my specs to give my poor eyes a bit of rest.

It always makes me feel part librarian, part beatnik wearing my glasses and I think it affects the clothes I chose as well. I wear a lot more black and it changes my make up too, as there’s no point layering on the eyeliner and then sticking on glasses, so I move the focus to my lips.

I love this ladies bomber jacket, I must have had it 7 years now and it was £5 in the TopShop sale, it’s got a bit of a 70s bomber jacket vibe to it and is a gorgeous burgundy colour.
