Happy Bank Holiday Weekend and Free Stuff Alert!

I have to start with a big thanks to Intrinsically Florrie for the heads up this, or I’d probably never have noticed it!

Boots are running an offer with Diet Coke at the moment where you can get a free limited edition Nails Inc nail polish with every 2 bottles of Diet Coke you buy. I do like Nails Inc polishes generally, I find they last well, my only complaint is that I find the lids stick a lot and are impossible to budge. I’m not sure I’d pay full price for a bottle, but if they’re giving it away free, I’m there!

The polishes are named after fashion capitals, Milan is a classic pillar box red, Paris a deep berry purple and London a grey mauve. Florrie also mentioned a vivid pink called New York, but that wasn’t to be seen on my visit.

Normally I keep my toe nails a deep red, and my fingers a neutral colour or red or black for special occasions. I had been wanting to get myself something a bit different for the summer. The problem is, faced with too much choice, I always find myself chickening out and just picking up the same old colours. Problem solved, with only 3 colours to choose from I bought 4 bottles of diet coke (rum and coke, anyone?) and picked up the London and Milan colours.

Also this week I received this beautiful Parasol as a gift from RelishTweets, who heard my miserable pleas about how quickly my skin tans if I flash it at a bit of sun.

They’re the people behind Relish Boutique in Deepdale, North Norfolk. They don’t sell online, which makes this is a genuine gift from a nice person, so I recommend popping in if you’re in the area on your holidays (and North Norfolk is a WONDERFUL place to go on holiday. I spent my honeymoon there)

Hopefully there will be lots of sunny weather to show it off!
