Event Alert: Free Vintage Hair Styling Evening

Is it an alert, or a reminder?

Either way this Friday evening (26th November), at 6:30pm, get yourself down to Flint Hair at 16, Bridewell Alley in Norwich for some warming free drinks and a demonstration of vintage hairstyling techniques by Flamingo Amy.

I am going to be one of the hair models for the evening. Conor from Flint who cuts my hair is going to give a little talk through of how my modified midi cut is carried out to give a nice shape when curled and set and then Flamingo Amy is going to be demonstraing a vintage style set and brushing it out into shape. She’ll also be sharing some handy techniques for creating a perfect beehive hair do, it was a style that was all over the catwalks, so pick up some tips just in time for Christmas Party season!

The evening is completely free, on a first come, first to fit into the salon basis! There will be free drinks to warm you up from the cold outside and a chance to chat with Amy, Conor, and, of course, me (what a treat…!) and pick our brains about all things vintage or hair related.

There will also be an opportunity for 2 lucky attendees to win either a hair cut with Conor or a Styling session with Amy, which is pretty darn fab! (Remember, if you’re not a lucky winner you can still book an appointment for a hair cut with 10% off by mentioning Retro Chick!)

If you fancy popping along then do go the Facebook Event page for more details and RSVP.

You can find details of this and other vintage events in the Norwich area on the Norwich Vintage Events page!

See you there?
