November 23, 2010Yesterday marked the 3 year anniversary of the day I finally walked out on my full time job for good.
It was a scary thing to do, but I’ve not regretted it for a second since. I won’t repeat myself as I went a bit soppy last year thanking you for your support, but sometimes it’s nice to stop and reflect on what you’ve achieved.
I celebrated yesterday by drinking cocktails and watching several episodes of Poirot followed by the Antiques Roadshow, a perfect Sunday afternoon, I’m sure you’ll agree!

Well done! It’s a brave thing to leave a steady job for uncertainty but your mental health is much more important, I wasn’t quite as brave but I moved jobs 3 yrs ago too and it’s the best thing I ever did, must have been something in the water back then! Here’s to a successful future, Steph x

I think I wouldn’t normally recommend most people just march out of their job 6 weeks before Christmas with no idea what they’re going to do next, it was a bit of an extreme situation for me! Planning ahead and preparing for it is great though. Good luck!
