It’s nice to have a bit of downtime.
Everything is so busy all the time and go, go, go. It’s hard to find space to think. But last Friday I got a chance for a bit of downtime as I went on a punting trip with new arrivals in Norwich the Norwich Punting Company to review it for Vintage Norwich.
Punting on sunny days requires your best sunny day outfit. But this is the best photo I could get of it while sat in a punt….

This Lady K Loves skirt is one of my new summer favourites. Skirts seem to be almost impossibly hard to find anywhere these days, even many repro companies don’t stock many and trawling charity shops seems to be the only solution a lot of the time, but this one is perfect, lightweight and calf length. Woo! P.S. Heads ups, the last 3 of the limited edition dresses I designed for Lady K Loves have been reduced in price to £75.
Anyway, back to punting. If you have chauffeured punting near you, or if you’re in Norwich and can get along to the Norwich Punting Company I highly recommend it. It’s only an hour, so you can do it on your lunch break, but it was like a good night sleep. Something about being so close to the water and the quiet movement was blissfully relaxing.
I will be going back as soon as I get chance, but in the meantime I shall leave you with a few photos for a bit of late afternoon relaxation.
