Day Twenty Three – A Lolly Doll Blouse
December 23, 2012A Christmas Eve Christmas Party Outfit Post
December 24, 2012We made it! Day 24 and the last of the prizes is revealed!
Today I’m giving you the chance to win a £100 voucher from online fashion store Zalando.
Zalando sell shoes, clothing and beauty products, so there’s plenty of choice to spend your money on! If you prefer a vintage style you’ll have to do a bit of hunting, like with any high street shop, but there are some gorgeous bits. These are a few of my favourites.
As it’s the last day there are 3 ways to be in with a chance of winning the voucher. You can follow Zalando on Twitter, Like Retro Chick on Facebook and/or just leave a comment telling me your favourite thing about Christmas, whether it’s mulled wine, presents, or just not being at work!
I’m using Rafflecopter to manage this giveaway, so just make sure that you log into the widget below and follow the instructions to make sure your entry counts! Don’t forget, if you missed any of the other days the doors will all stay open till New Years Eve so you can just go back to the advent calendar and open them now!
Good luck, and Happy Christmas!

My favourite thing about Christmas is the fact that no proper food is actually required. I survive on nothing but alcohol, fat and e numbers for practically a fortnight.
Sequins!
My niece and nephews faces when they see the big pile of presents under the tree.Gives me the warm and fuzzies!xx
Secret Santa!
Christmas records – current fave is Jim Reeves 12 songs of Christmas
My favorite thing is the festive spirit you seem to get more than any other time of the year, some say that its to gimmicky but after every thing is prepared, presents wrapped, turkey cooked and the faces of the kids opening their presents it cant be beaten. Merry Christmas everyone and lets hope 2013 is a better year than this. 🙂
My favourite thing about Christmas is seeing my children’s eyes light up when I talk about Santa Claus! As my four are still very small, they all still believe so I am cherishing every moment of it! They are all high as kits and so happy at the moment – it is lovely to see them like this – though tiring for me!
My favourite thing would be having time. Time for taking long walks in the snowy woods with my dog. Time for never ending meals with my family. Time for listening to a ton of Christmas music while sitting by the fireplace. Nowhere to go, just being with my loved ones – Perfect.
We don’t have any presents in the house until Christmas day after the big guys been overnight. I love seeing the look on the kids faces when they walk in the lounge and the tree is surrounded by gifts plus there’s a letter and (fake) snow spilt on the fireplace from Santa.
My favourite thing about Christmas is coming home to family and sitting in front of the fire. And Doctor Who!
My favourite thing about Christmas is watching people open presents (and obviously getting some too :P) but I get so excited watching them open things, waiting to see if they love them watch them wear/play/use them 🙂
I love seeing my children’s faces when they realise Father Christmas has been.
Giving back to the community. I always work in a soup kitchen at Christmas . . . The real spirit of Christmas is sharing
I love Christmas Eve when all the shopping is finished and the preparations for the next day have begun. It’s the belief in Santa my grandson has and the serious way he chooses the snack to be left out for Santa and the reindeers.
What Ella said! 😉 x
My favourite thing is taking some time to regroup and connect with people that are important to you, before the new year whisks you away again.
My least favourite thing about Christmas this year is the exam I have straight after! Normally my favourite thing is joining in with Christmassy things with my family or out and about but this year I’ve had to concentrate on revision instead.

I just love Christmas in general. I start to get excited around mid November and that lasts right up to the day. Prefix almost anything with the word “Christmas” and it just becomes a million times better in my book. Christmas movies, christmas drink, christmas food…its all good.
Massive christmas thanks for running this competition. Its been amazing.
Merry Christmas xxx
The best thing about christmas apart from being with your family is sitting on the sofa after your christmas dinner, nicely stuffed and a bit tipsy, then slipping off for a little nap. Nothing better than that!
Not having any children, when I hear how stressed parents are at this time of year I am so glad we decided not to have any, lol, means we buy lots of presents for each other instead ;o)
I love that I can spend time with my children, without having to rush around. Oh, and that we get to eat chocolate for breakfast without feeling guilty!
Just having a few days of chilling out!
It gives you a chance to catch up with relatives that are too busy to visit during the year.

I love a combination of things: being with friends and family, getting dressed up, taking extra care over the food, drinking cherry brandy, board games (yes, I really do!), giving and receiving gifts and curling up with the chocolates in front of the TV!

Taking a break from the studying mode to spend some quality time with friends and family

Being with the family!
My favourite thing about christmas is our Christmas Dinner and party afternoon with the nursery and reception children I teach. The best bit has to be the look on their faces when they hear the sleigh-bells as Father Christmas arrives – and then all their sweet, shy “Thank you Father Christmas” ‘s as the collect their presents. It’s so nice to have Father Christmas remind you that you’re teaching such polite children!

More important even than Christmas cocktails 😉

At Christmas I love the cold, the bracing weather when out walking – the chance to have a couple of days away from work, and some new films on TV to record for later in the year! But most of all I love the pile of pressies and not having a clue what’s in (half of) them!
One of the things I love about Christmas is this little stuff toy Christmas penguin my Mum has. He has a bell round his neck and a little Christmas hat on. When you bang him on the table he says ‘Ho, ho, ho, merry Christmas!’ and it just fills me full of joy!!

My favourite thing about Christmas? The laziness! In most houses, Christmas is 2 days: the day and then boxing day. In my house, it’s a full blown holiday. A good 2 weeks is spent eating, playing games, reading, painting, spending time with family, every day is relaxed and enjoyable and lazy. Every day is Christmas dinner/buffet/leftover Christmas dinner curries, pies, sandwiches. The food is amazing, the company is even better. Christmas is perfect.
