We’re half way through the advent calendar, and today’s prize is actually rather special!
Today I have a bottle of Sprizzato to giveaway, and it’s special because at the moment you can’t just pop down the shops and buy yourself a bottle. At the moment it’s only available in a few select London restaurants and delicatessans.
Sprizzato is an Italian aperitif. It can be used in drinks in the same way as Campari or Aperol. I’ve not tried it yet myself (it’s like hens teeth this stuff, seriously!), but it apparently has a bitter citrus and rhubarb flavour. The classic way to drink it is mixed with Prosecco, but there are also some other delicious sounding cocktail recipes on the website!
It also comes in a beautiful Art Deco bottle, which will look cracking in a cocktail cabinet!
