DAY TWELVE – A Vintage Style Sherlock Holmes e-Reader Cover

Todays lovely prize comes courtesy of the Crime Readers Association, the perfect place for you if you love Poirot, Sherlock Holmes and other vintage crime fiction, or even if you’re a lover of contemporary crime fiction.

They’ve donated an Adventures of Sherlock Holmes e-reader cover, in a size that caters for e-readers and tablets up to the size of an iPad mini.

The cover was designed in association with the British LibraryĀ  and is part of a range that consists of some of the most beautiful and well-loved book covers in the British Library archives. These cases replicate the book’s exact condition and even includes the Library’s unique shelf number as it is stored in its collections. This particular cover is a replica of a 1905 edition of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

    This e-reader cover is just perfect! I am currently reading all the Sherlock Holmes books on my new kindle.
    But I must say, my all times favorite stays Agatha Christie. Her characters are fascinating are she always manage to manipulate the reader into suspecting the wrong character.

    Crime is one of my favourite genres. At the moment I love Boris Akunin (translated Russian historical crime) and as an all time favourite Sherlock Holmes or perhaps Colin Dexter. I prefer Agatha Christie as screen adaptation (philistine that I am).
