Luscious Lingerie – Miss Lala Presents

So, my obsession with gorgeous lingerie continues as last week I went to a press day and came face to face with a rack full of gorgeous pretties from Miss La La.

Miss La La is not only a boutique in Covent Garden that stocks adorable fashion and accesories like Bebaroque, Ashish, Lowie and Sara Berman, but also has it’s own range of beautiful retro styled lingerie.

I of course am still wearing my terribly boring basic black seam free pants, as I think my gas/electric/phone/landlord might be very cross with me if they discovered that the reason they had no money off me was because I’d been spending over £100 on one set of lingerie.

Lingerie is the one thing I definitely can’t get in a thrift/charity shop or vintage store, unlike the rest of my wardrobe! *sigh*

Still, I enjoyed the opportunity to stroke the gorgeous satin fabrics yesterday and enjoy the whimsical prints and spend a precious few minutes engaging in my frequent fantasy where I’m lounging in expensive candlelit hotel rooms sipping champagne and deciding which pieces from my ridiculously expensive wardrobe to wear out for cocktails that evening.

There are 4 ranges from Miss La La. All as gorgeous as each other made from silk and satin and trimmed with little details like frills and bows.

Cross my Heart is a sophisticated silk design inspired by a vintage 1940s bra from designer Fine Rees own lingerie collection.

Inspired by a 15th Century painting found in old archives, the Meet me in St Louis range includes a silk slip and kimono, so this is probably the range I shall be wearing whilst I’m doing my imaginary lounging.

Dancing at the Ritz is an adorable print of tea cups on silk with cute pink ruffle. Luxurious lingerie with a sense of whimsy.

Inspired by those glamorous 1950s heart shaped chocolate boxes and oozing low key old school glamour the Boite de Chocolat range has delicately pleated italian satin cups and is trimmed with tiny bows. For days when you want to feel like a grown up.
