Saturday night was the Bo Nanafana Havana Ball, try saying that 10 times fast!
As always the evening was a triumph of glitz and glamour with free dance lessons early evening and the Bad Hatters drawing Bad Portraits in aid of Haiti.
It’s amazing to have the opportunity to get properly dressed up sometimes and, quite frankly, it would be physically impossible to be over dressed at the Bo Nanafana Social Club.

This is/was my outfit for Saturday night. I really love the dress, which was swapped for some advertising with Lady K Loves. It also got a LOT of compliments, which really surprised me as at an event where everyone makes such an effort I expected to fade into the background a little. Without the underskirt it’ll also make the perfect day dress should we ever get any sun this year.
I also made a real effort with my hair this time. Having long hair has been a bit of a learning process for me, it’s not been past my shoulders since I was 14 and being so fine it can be difficult to handle.
A lot of backcombing and the addition of a Flamingo Amy orchid, bought at The Bridewell Collective event, and I was pretty pleased with the finished effect.
