Don’t get me wrong, I have LOADS of shoes, but very many of them are the sort you can’t actually walk in, and the ones I can walk in I have worn very nearly to death. So, I have been fantasy shopping for shoes. Sort of sensible shoes, ones with mid heels and a front buckle or t-bar, but not so thick it cuts you off at the ankle.
Here are my top High Street picks that are on my wish list for when my bank balance is looking a little healthier….
These come in “Mushroom”, Navy and Black and have a concealed platform to make you look all tall and elegant.
A big chunky platform, but I like that in a shoe! Bit gutted these aren’t in my size, especially as they are also in the sale.
The T bar on this is a little higher, so might cut you off at the ankle a little, but it’s quite thin and these are very sexy shoes, also in the sale!
These are NICE. Reduced in the sale to a measly £23 and available in black, red and grey, though sadly sizes are pretty limited in the red and black.
Abandon pretence of sensibleness all ye who enter here! They’re a sensible shape, with a sensible heel, but do black and gold shoes with cats on them qualify as a sensible every day shoe?

No way I got t bar buckle mid heels for my birthday otherwise i would be snapping up those cat ones 🙂 despite my extensive heel collection I wear my Melissa pumps everyday it’s all about comfort (but still stylish)
Simba shoes are an essential!!!!!!! I feel a pair of these coming on when payday arrives 🙂

I think those clarks shoes might have to be mine when I return to work.
Love the cat ones! Not sensible enough for me unfortunately, with arthritis & everything 🙁 any chance of a post on stylish / pretty flats?

Argh I know that feeling.. I have SO many pairs of shoes but I always find myself going back to the same 3 or 4 pairs. I need more!!!!! I find it very difficult to find vintage-style shoes in Australia though, we just don’t get the range that everyone else seems to get!
The Simba shoes are the jewel of my shoe collection! I only wear them for special occasions, though, because I’m afraid I’ll spoil them.

I have to sell most of mine as I’ve gone from a four to a wide five since pregnancy, 🙂 cat shoes would cheer me up lol
